Maplehurst Bakeries’ IDDBA Exhibit Garners Unprecedented Attention
Brownsburg, June 21, 2011

Maplehurst Bakeries, LLC recently showcased their in-store bakery expertise and capabilities at the annual IDDBA Conference, hosted this year in Anaheim, CA. Maplehurst Bakeries is a leading producer of bakery items sold at in-store bakeries across the United States. The International Dairy-Deli-Bake Association Expo is the largest show in the world in the dairy, deli and bakery category, targeting the supermarket and foodservice industries.

Having recently acquired Keystone Bakeries, parent company to Granny’s Kitchens, Heartland Bakery and Freed’s Bakery, part of Maplehurst’s focus for IDDBA 2011 was the new ready-to-sell products now under its growing portfolio. This acquisition supports Maplehurst’s vision to be known by its customers as a trusted, solution-oriented partner who is instrumental in making their in-store bakeries a success.

Beyond the rollout of new products like red velvet donuts, half-sheet almond cake and pumpkin flavored chocolate chip cookies, another key focus for IDDBA 2011 was Maplehurst’s seasonal capabilities. Maplehurst offers a wide range of seasonal bake-off and ready-to-sell donuts, cookies, cakes, pies and breads & rolls to support retailers during holiday periods. They are also experts at developing smart merchandising and in-and-out plans based on regional preferences.

“This year, our sales team gained traction and achieved greater success than previous years at IDDBA,” said Carl Singer, Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “IDDBA is, and has always been, an indispensible opportunity for Maplehurst to showcase our capabilities and expertise.”

Look for Maplehurst Bakeries next year at IDDBA 2012, scheduled for June 10-12 in New Orleans, LA.
