In 1981, Granny’s Kitchens was founded in a small 20,000 square-foot facility in Yorkville, New York to mainly produce frozen donuts for a chain of 20 donut shops. Since 1989, the facility has expanded to 280 employees and eight production lines. This makes Granny's the world's largest donut manufacturer under one roof.
